Personal Data processing - legal basis and purpose

We may process it for the following purposes, depending on the context in which you provided your personal data to IAPS:

  • in order to pursue our legitimate interests, such as: responding to your inquiry or notification sent to us (e.g. to send detailed information about the service or offer you are interested in); determining, pursuing or defending possible claims (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
  • in order to take actions necessary to conclude the contract (e.g. preparation of the contract) or its performance, including considering complaints - if you decided to use our services (legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR);
  • in order to fulfill legal obligations related to keeping accounting and accounting documentation, e.g. when we provide you with the data necessary to issue an invoice (legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR);

Your data may also be disclosed to the postal operators serving us (e.g. to deliver you a contract or ordered materials), but only to the extent necessary to deliver correspondence addressed to you.

We make sure that our employees undergo appropriate training in the field of personal data protection by familiarizing them with internal protection policies and procedures. All persons authorized to process personal data are obliged to keep the data confidential and protect it against disclosure to unauthorized persons.

IAPS does not provide for transfers to recipients in countries located outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Personal data storage period

We will store your personal data for as long as we need it to achieve the purpose for which it was collected (e.g. answering an inquiry, preparing a contract and its implementation, responding to a complaint, pursuing claims) or as long as we this was required by law (e.g. issued invoices will be stored for the period specified in tax and accounting regulations).

If the sole basis for the processing of your personal data was your consent, IAPS will process them for the purposes covered by this consent no longer than until the consent is withdrawn by you.

Rights of persons affected by personal data

  • the right to withdraw previously granted consent to the processing of personal data or a form of marketing communication, which, however, will not affect the legality of the IAPS Company's activities that were based on this premise and took place before exercising the right to withdraw consent,
  • the right to request deletion of data in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR (“right to be forgotten”),
  • the right to object at any time to the processing of her personal data for reasons related to her particular situation, if the data are processed by the IAPS Company as part of the implementation of its legitimate interests (in accordance with Article 21(1) of the GDPR),
  • the right to object at any time to the processing of his or her personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling, to the extent that the processing of this person's data is related to such direct marketing (in accordance with Article 21(2) of the GDPR).

In order to exercise the above-mentioned rights, please contact the IAPS Company using the contact details provided in the "Administrator" section. A person who has submitted an application or request regarding the processing of his or her personal data, as part of the exercise of his or her rights, may be asked by the IAPS Company to answer several questions related to his or her personal data, which will enable the verification of his or her identity.

Security of Personal Data

Therefore, we recommend using appropriate e-mail security measures, and if you send us data by e-mail which, if intercepted by unauthorized persons, could, due to its scope, be used to cause material or immaterial damage to you (e.g. identity theft), we recommend so that they are sent to us in the form of a password-protected attachment.
